2nd grade Chocolate Experince

The children from 2nd grade had a wonderful time learning through the IPC unit: Chocolate Giuliana: "I learn that if you put the banana cold in the hot chocolate fountian the chocolate froz and I laso learned that if you use your five senses you can imagine the ingrediets. It was delicious all the chocolate bars, the ice-cream, the ckae, the fruit and the chocolate fountain." Sofia: "I learned that with your five senses you can know some ingredients> Ialso learn that some fruits taste good with chocolate." Arian: "I learned that when you eat chocolate bars you have to smell it and then read the paper and then eat it." Jose Igancio:"In the chocolate experince we use our five senses to taste, small, and feel the chocolate and it was delicious." I ;eared that we need to smell, feel, and taste but the banana was frozen. it was delicious we ate cake, chocolate, fruit with white chocolate. i like this activity, I wished it happened agiain.

As part of their Entry Point the Prepa children had the opportunity to visit our famouse toy factory: Roxana. They children were able to learn the process on how dolls are made. they were amazed on the fact that each body part has to be up into molds and then into ovens. Once the different body parts are ready each doll is assemble individually. A sewing machine adds the hair and then they spray paint the dolls lips. Children had fun and a full vision on how dolls are made in our country.
